Doolin, County Clare
The pretty little village of Doolin that rests of the west coast of Ireland transformed their local playground recently with the help of the Dulux Let’s Colour Project. Anne Hughes from the Doolin Tidy Town Group said “the change is amazing and we are getting great feedback from the community!” One of the aims of the Dulux Let’s Colour Project is to positively impact the community as a whole and this can really been seen in Doolin. Initially, the playground appeared as a dull and uninviting environment for children to play in, however, with newly painted wooden fences in bright block primary colours and newly painted facilities such as the swings it is now an area that both parents and children are drawn too. The Dulux Let’s Colour Project enriches colour into people lives and communities, enhancing local areas into brighter and more charming places to live.
